Lakeside Country Park

Eastleigh - Lakeside Country Park, 60 acres of lakes, wet meadow and woodland situated between Eastleigh and Southampton. These restored gravel works offer the ideal day out for all, and for the keen-eyed, the Country Park has a range of birds, insects and small mammals as well as the occasional fox and deer.

Farley Mount Country Park

Winchester - On the downs a few miles west of Winchester lies Farley Mount Country Park, a large area of open country and woods, including chalk down grass land, Forestry Commission plantation and Crabwood which is Ancient woodland Local Nature Reserve. The Clarendon Way long distance footpath runs through the site and at the highest point there is a pyramid shaped folly that gives the park its name.
