Where to go
Towns and City Interests
Chichester Cathedral |
| Chichester - Chichester Cathedral offers a great opportunity for photography both inside and outside. |
| They have no objection to cameras and tripods being used inside the cathedral as long as every care is taken not to obstruct other visitors and staff. |
| An optional entrance fee of £5.00 per person is requested, which in my mind is very fare considering the cost of maintaining a magnificent build as this. |
| The only time they might object to photographing inside the cathedral, is if they thought that the photographs were being taken for commercial purposes. |
Portsmouth Cathedral |
| Portsmouth - Portsmouth Cathedral is, first and foremost, the Mother Church of the Diocese of Portsmouth, a geographical area including south-east Hampshire, Portsea Island and the Isle of Wight. It is the base of KENNETH, Bishop of Portsmouth, and the focal point for many diocese-wide services and events. |

| Comment: Salisbury Cathedral has a new Font sculpture which could be of particular interest for photography using the reflections in the water. (See the Salisbury gallery on this site) |
